    I use it at the counter when working in the kitchen, doing those back stressing tasks such as cleaning veggies, chopping, etc. It's great. Very comfortable and my 83 year old mother uses it also and helps in the the kitchen now as well.

    I bought this product for my kitchen bar, but I also used it for my office while I'm waiting for my office chair. I does the job, but it gets a little uncomfortable after a while.     I wanted five barstools for my kitchen and picked this one after lots of looking. I ordered these with brown leather and it softened the industrial look. We all like the swivel. The stools had to be less than 20 inches wide for the space and these fit nicely and still feel roomy. Very pleased.

    The stools back rest is perfectly tilted so as to add the maximum comfort when sitting forward or casually sidewards. The swivel mechanism is tight enough to not spin when bumped or moved about but it easily rotates with a person sitting on the stool. These stools are a great value and look great in our modern decor.

    These bar stools look great placed at the bar so friends can watch the cook. They are a little light weight, so leaning back in them by a large man may not be a great idea. But they were only a little over $100 apiece, so my expectations can't be terribly high. They don't swivel as smoothly as I had hoped, but a little oil seemed to improve that.

    The chairs require minimal assembling--very simple. [...] Great color and quality.We have a 5 * 5 RED table. We added a large lazy-susan in the center of the table and purchased 12 chairs--4 black, 2 yellow, 2 orange, 2 green, and 2 blue. It is the perfect place for small, informal dinner parties. Though 8 fit more easily around the table, with good food and plenty of laughter, 12 can squeeze around the table just fine.

    I was looking for a stool for my high school classroom. I loved the retro style of the stool with the shiny chrome. [...] The fabric on the seat and back was durable and well sewn. As a large man, I was concerned about the stool being unsteady or shaky. It was very sturdy and I felt very comfortable and secure sitting on it. I have had the stool for over a year now and it is still like new! I would definitely buy this stool again!
